Lash Lift – South Yarra, Melbourne

MUST HAVE treatment which I LOVE…..  The Lash Lift!

This treatment is an instant ‘root lift’ for natural lashes, using a silicone mould to lengthen and curl lashes to perfection. A more updated version of lash perming, lash lifting actually lifts the lashes rather than the traditional curling method. This means that the length of your lashes is retained and can actually make them appear longer!

This treatment is perfect for clients that love naturally longer, defined. curled looking lashes.

Eyebrow Tints are a Must.

Reasons to Tint Your Eyebrows

If you have light brows that are prone to getting even lighter, tinting is an excellent option for you to keep them darker.

Tinting your brows will give the illusion of wearing brow powder without the worry.

Tinting your brows will look like you woke up with makeup.

If you feel you are lacking fullness, tinting your brows will make them appear more full.

Tinting your brows can also help create more definition and makes your face look brighter.

Chemical Peels for Treatment of Acne

Chemical peels are acids which are applied to the skin about once every two weeks.1-2 These acids chemically exfoliate the top layers of skin. This exfoliation signals the cells inside the skin to produce more rapidly, which can help hasten skin turnover and prevent pores from becoming clogged. At this time there is no evidence showing whether any one type of peel works better than another. From the data we currently have, they all appear to have similar efficacy. Chemical peels are also sometimes used to help lessen the appearance of acne scars.

Studies show about 45-50% reduction in acne lesions after a series of 4-6 peels. Most study participants report a “fair” to “good” result. Results tend to last for 1-2 months, with acne beginning to reassert itself at this time.

Most people experience a sun burnt look with obvious peeling of the skin in the days after their first peel. This redness and peeling tends to be less pronounced with each consecutive peel.

Because chemical peels peel away the protective layers of the skin, your skin will be much more sensitive to sunlight and UV rays. It is extremely important to keep your skin out of the sun after a peel and to use an adequate SPF.
